| Education is critical to each citizen's ability
to survive in the knowledge economy. Today's students must develop
key 21st century skills such as familiarity with information
and communication technology, problem solving, critical thinking
and collaboration so that they are able to function in, and
shape, the world ahead.
UE signed an MoU in January, 2007 with Intel to initiate
the program ˇ°Intel Teach Programmeˇ± having the
following objectives:
- Effective use of IT in classes by students.
- Provision of 7000 books and CDs on Computer Application
in Education.
- Monitoring by Intel for effective instruction by teachers
