UE Organized a Seerat Conference for women at Bank Road Campus

A Seerat Conference for women was held at University of Education, Bank Road Campus, Lahore, which was attended by the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I), Prof. Dr. Jameela Shaukat, Dr. Tahira Abdul Qadous, Dr. Mohsina Muneer, Dr. Shahida Parveen, faculty members and a large number of students of the University. The theme of Conference was “Role of women in society and their limitation in light of Seerat Ul Nabi (S.A.W)”.


While addressing the conference, the speakers said the basic aim of Islamic teachings is to create a peaceful society based on equality in all phases of life. He said our Prophet (PBUH) was a great teacher who teaches the humanity love, patience, forgiveness and sacrifice for others and all these qualities are the basic pillars of a peaceful and beautiful society. 

In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I) said we should completely follow the Seerat Ul Nabi to be successful in this world and the life after death. He said Islamic revolution was the only revolution of human history which was not involved any bloodshed. we should specially focus our attention towards inculcating the qualities prescribed by our holy Prophet (PBUH) in our women. At the end of conference special prayer was offered for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. This Conference was organized by the Directorate of Students Affairs.
