The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies operates under the umbrella of Division of Education, University of Education, Lahore. The Department is unique in its nature in Pakistan and offers a range of Specialized Programs, in-line with global trends, from Undergraduate level to Post-Graduate level. The Department is aimed and committed to produce dynamic Leaders, Academic Managers and Policy Makers in different areas of Education including Teaching, Research and Administration.
The department recognizes its responsibility to highlight Issues/Challenges of the area of Educational Leadership and Policy in the context of Pakistan, and come-up with Rationale and Evidence-based Solutions of these issues/challenges. In this regard, it is critical to set-up a platform that offer opportunity to all the stakeholders including HEC, PHEC, HED, SED, Researchers, Practitioners, Educational Leaders and Academia to sit together to discuss the issues/challenges and come-up with Workable and Evidence-based Solutions. Therefore, the Department has taken the initiative and is going to organize a conference with below mentioned Title and Theme:

As vice-chancellor, I am intended to build university as top notional University to make it best platform for education and research. This conference is a step towards achieving our vision in becoming a world-class academic and research institution in order to produce human capital with first class mentality. This conference will be a good starting point for university of Education and international universities to interchange knowledge and skills in the area of chemistry. We are looking forward to find solutions and modern trends in chemistry to contribute towards global needs. First and foremost, I am delighted to welcome all distinguished speakers of this conference. ICE-LAP 1 2023 will be a platform to bring together not only researchers, postgraduate students but also industry professionals. I do believe that ICE-LAP 1 2023 will embark on a whole process of scientific learning, making new discoveries and then transforming them into products for the marketplace. As a public sector university, main challenge is to remain competitive by offering high quality scientific and academic programs, focusing on its potential areas. In this regard, University of Education has been persistently organizing series of trainings, workshops, seminars, webinars and conferences to make it a thriving hub of research and quality education. I am very enthusiastic about this 1st version of ICE-LAP 1 2023 and hope it will be a successful event.
