Dr. Anjum Siddiqui is a senior economist and internationally recognized scholar with diverse expertise in macroeconomics, finance, and international business. He holds a PhD in Economics from Simon Fraser University, Canada and an MA in Economics from University of Ottawa. Dr. Siddiqui has served as the Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Economist and Head of Strategic Corporate Planning at National Bank of Pakistan where he was the Lead Economist in the $300 million “Banking Sector Reform Project” financed by the World Bank. He has taught at leading Canadian universities and at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Siddiqui has been a research consultant to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and to the State Bank of Pakistan and has been a member of such think tanks as the Center for Pacific Basin Studies, Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco and the Quantitative Macroeconomics & Real Business Cycles Group, Connecticut. He is the author of the book “India and South Asia: Economic Developments in the Age of Globalization” and has published many articles in reputable international journals. Dr. Siddiqui has also served as the Director of Center for Research and Development at the Gulf University for Science and Technology in Kuwait. Dr. Siddiqui’s contributions as a professional economist have been recognized by the Marquis Who’s Who.
Dr. Nazima Ellahi is an Associate Professor & Head Department of Economics and Finance at Foundation University Islamabad, Pakistan. She is a Certified Productivity Specialist from APO, Japan, and works as an Editor of Foundation University Journal of Business & Economics. Dr. Ellahi received the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan’s Best University Teacher Award. She has considerable experience in academic writing in prestigious journals worldwide and training. She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles with a cumulative IF of 21. Moreover, she presented at reputable conferences around the globe at different conventions and won best paper awards. She is currently working on a book titled “Sustainable Development Goals Challenges and Responses to COVID-19 Outbreak” which is getting publish in the International Islamic University Malaysia Press.
Prof. Dr. Zakir Hussain has been associated with teaching, research, supervision and administration with local as well as foreign institutions, including University of Agriculture Faisalabad, University of Sargodha, US-Aid, FAO, Winrock International, Colorado State University, Kansas State University and Agricultural Assessment International Corporation USA. He has supervised a handful of M.Phil and PhD scholars and has produced more than 100 research publications. His area of academic interest includes Development Economics, Rural Poverty Alleviation and Inequality.
