Introduction:

Dr. Syed Awais Rouf had completed his PhD in Physics from University of Oulu, Finland in Nov 2017. He has been working as an Assistant Professor and program coordinator at University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan since Oct 2018. He has experience of working in the field of materials science, computational condensed matter physics, materials modeling and simulations, computational and theoretical chemistry. He has vast experience of using density functional theory (DFT) and other first-principles computational methods to compute the various properties (i.e., physical, structural, electronic, electrical, optical, magnetic, thermal and thermodynamic etc.) of materials for their optoelectronic, thermoelectric, and spintronic applications.
