University of Education, Lahore attaches great importance to the quality of international students committing to raise the number of degree programs in compatible with the need of international and national market. To provide better services and more professional support to international students, UE Directorate of External Linkage has been established to coordinate and facilitate collaboration with other international universities, academia, agencies and industry for research cooperation projects and to promote internal academic linkages

The mission of this office include to assist and help international students adapt to the University's life, deal with daily study, visa and activity affairs and get better improved in this distinguished university. The mission of this office is to guide freshmen to better understand this university and the life here, hold one-one tutor program and intercultural activities for international students.

International student’s education is a significant aspect of University of Education, Lahore’s internationalization strategy. UE offers 33 state of the art undergraduate 12 graduate and 10 post graduate English-medium programs for international students. These programs are structured in such a way that they meet their quality standards of international university, industry and market. Our over 50 international partners and strong network in research and teaching affirm our commitment to globalization and evidence to our welcoming culture.
Currently, a large number of students from different countries like Afghanistan, China, Nigeria, Iran, Yemen, Zambia, and African regions are registered at University of Education, Lahore. Among all the international students, 77% of them are pursuing degree programs at masters and doctoral level. The rest are in non-degree or exchange programs.
Under the aegis of this office, the University of Education has signed an agreement with Hebei Academy of Fine Arts (HBAFA) China to launch a yearlong Chinese language course and Chinese Bridge Online Courses for Pakistanis students. This program will be conducted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of China. The HBAFA has generously offered 100 free of cost places to UE faculty and students.
Recently, University of Education and Hebei Academy of Fine Arts (HBAFA) China has jointly launched the doctoral and master’s programs in the field of History, Art and Cultural Heritage. It is an initiative that conforms to the trend of world economic globalization, cultural diversification and social informatization.
This initiative of launching Joint programs will open new avenues of partnership and collaboration between Pakistan and China. Moreover, the UE will provide all other necessary services to help Chinese students to pass the foreign academic degree certification of Chinese Ministry of Education.
