The 4th two-day International Conference on “Advances in Materials Science (AIMS2023)” concluded at University of Education, Lahore on November 30, 2023. The scholars and scientists from all over the Pakistan, UK, China, Germany, Spain, Malaysia, Egypt, South Africa, South Korea, Australia, Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Argentina and Iraq participated in the Conference. During the conference, more than 120 research papers were presented. The closing ceremony of the conference was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed while the Chief Guest of the ceremony was the Vice-Chancellor of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad (S.I.). Chairman HEC Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed also participated in the Conference through “Zoom” and apricated the effort of UE.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed congratulated the organizing committee for the conference and said that the solution to get rid of the challenges facing the world today is only in the development of education and research. It is there, in which materials science has a special importance. The Vice-Chancellor further said that we hope that the young scholars have made full use of this conference, which will be useful for the country in the future. while addressing the participants of the event, the Chief Guest Vice-Chancellor of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore Prof. Dr. Nasim Ahmad (S.I.) said that the efforts made by the University of Education, Lahore for the development of education and research in the last few years are undoubtedly worthy of praise. By organizing this conference, the university provided our young scholars with the much needed platform. The field of materials science is very broad, with a lot of scope for work. He also congratulated University of Education, Lahore and Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed for organizing the international conference.
Co-Patron of the conference Professor Dr. Rana Abrar Hussain thanked all the experts, teachers, students and said that the academic enthusiasm shown by the participants during the two days of the conference is very welcome. He said that we will continue to organize an international conference on this topic every year in the future, because holding such conferences is very useful in terms of research. Director Students Affair Dr. Faheem K. Butt and others were also present on this occasion.
