UE Organized 2nd International Conference on Recent Approaches in Plant Sciences (RAPS-2023)

The University of Education's Department of Botany is all set to organize 2nd International Conference on “Recent Approaches in Plant Sciences (RAPS)” 4-5 May, 2023. Many national and international scientists from different countries including USA, UK, China, Turkey Tunisia, Africa and throughout the Pakistan will present their work either physically/virtually during Conference. The conference has received an overwhelming response from the scientific community, with over 300 abstracts received for oral/poster presentations from national and international institutes. The conference aims to explore the latest technological advancements, challenges, and opportunities in the botanical sciences and provide a platform for young minds to collaborate and contribute towards excellence. The goal of this conference is to unite professionals from various fields such as biologists, biotechnologists, plant science experts, botanists, researchers, scientists, academicians, professionals, and research fellows. These individuals will have the opportunity to present their important scientific research and findings to the community.
The inaugural ceremony of the conference was held at the main Campus Township of UE on May 4, 2023, which was presided over by the Vice Chancellor Prof.  Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (H.I., S.I.) while Prof. Dr. Kauser Abdulla Malik (H.I., S.I., T.I.) from Forman Christian College University, Lahore, an eminent plant scientist and world known researcher was the chief guest. While welcoming the participant, Prof. Dr. Abrar Hussain Chairperson, Department of Botany briefed about the objectives of the Conference. The conference promises to be an exciting event for botanists and scientists who are interested in the latest developments in plant sciences. While addressing the participants, the speaker including Vice Chancellor Prof.  Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (H.I., S.I.), Prof. Dr. Kauser Abdulla Malik (H.I., S.I., T.I.) and others emphasizing on preparation botanical gardens in institutions. Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arshad, Director Division of Science & Technology Prof. Dr. Alam Saeed, guests, large number of students and others were also present in the ceremony.
