The virtual graduation ceremony of English Access Micro scholarship held on May 6, 2021. The
chief guest her Excellency Ms. Catherine Rodriguez, U.S. Consul General in Lahore and guest of
honor esteemed Vice Chancellor University of Education Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.) graced the
event. The presence of Deputy Public Affairs Officer Brian Brendel, Regional English Language
Officer David Fay, English Program Manager Punjab Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Dr. Mirza Arfan
Yawer, Principal University of Education D.G. Khan Campus and Program Director Dr. Ahsan
Bashir also made this event memorable.
The ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of two years program that aimed at
developing communication and presentation skills of English language in one hundred students
of an under privileged area like D.G.Khan. The sincere efforts of Program officer Ms.Uzma
Sadiq, Access Coordinator Talha Bashir and Access teachers Ms. Abeera Waseem, Shehla Ilyas,
Warda Batool and Rubina Naz turned it into a success. The vice Chancellor University of
Education Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha appreciated the students for their active involvement on all
forums and also shared the good news of the extension of the program for the next two years.
The chief guest applauded the hard work of access team and teachers. She also appreciated the
endeavors of the worthy Vice Chancellor for the development of University and launching such
programs in UE. Dr. Mirza Arfan Yawer Principal UE D.G.Khan Campus and Dr. Ahsan Bashir
expressed their well wishes for access graduates.
