Mr. Ghulam Yasin, holds MSc and MS degrees from the University of the Punjab. With over 14+ years of academic experience, he has served as a visiting lecturer at University of the Punjab, University of Management and Technology, Minhaj University, Global Institute, PIMSATS, JICC, NCBAE and is presently working as Coordinator/HoD Department of Information Sciences at the University of Education Lahore.
Mr. Yasin has demonstrated his research expertise by publishing 07 research papers (04 journal & 03 conference paper) in prestigious journals such as IJAS, WSEAS Transactions on Communications, IEEE, and IJCSI. He has also presented his research ideas at conferences like the International Conference of UBICOMM and the IEEE International Conference on Application Information and Communication Technologies (AICT 2015). As an active member of ACM, ISOC, and IENG, he has contributed to the academic community by serving on the editorial board and review committee of SDIWC, SCIREA, and SDIWC (Big Data). Furthermore, he is a member of the Technical Program Committee for the Mediterranean Smart Cities Conference (MSCC 2024) and reviewer of the WSEAS Transactions on Communications, WSEAS Transactions on Computers, IEEE International Conference on Open-Source Systems and Technologies (ICOSST) ,International Conference on Applied Mathematics & Computer Science Venice, Italy (ICAMCS 2024) and Wireless Personal Communications (Springer).
Mr. Yasin remains committed to
continuous learning, participating in several workshops, seminars, and webinars
organized by COMSTECH, Elsevier, Coursera, ITU-working group 20 and PTA. He is
professional ICT trainer and affiliated with QAED, CIMLA and MPDD which are
prestigious training institutes under the Government of Punjab, Lahore,
Pakistan. His areas of interest include IoT, Health Informatics, Ad hoc
Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Cloud Computing.
