Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Hussain
is among the world's top 2% of scientists. Presently, he is
serving as a Lecturer of Physics in the Department of Physics at the University
of Education, Lahore, Multan Campus. He secured his Doctoral Degree in Physics from the
Bahauddin Zakiya University, Multan, Pakistan, a top-ranked institution in
the region. Before this, he completed a postgraduate degree (Master
of Philosophy in Physics) from the
COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Iqbal has held the posts of Administrative Officer,
Assistant Director (Admin), and Deputy Director (Management) in the Registrar's
Office of the University of Education from 29th May 2006 to 30th
Oct 2017. During his tenure at this university, he also had the privilege to have look after charge of the Registrar's Office from 16.9.2017 to 27.9.2017. Since then, he has been serving as Lecturer of
Physics at the Multan Campus of this university.
His research interests include Computational Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, and Materials Physics. Dr. Iqbal has credit to publish more than 50 research articles on ternary Perovskites, Ruddlesden-Popper Layered and double Perovskites, Chalcogenides, Mxenes, Blue phosphorene, Hydrides, Olivine-type materials, Disulfides in an impact factor well-recognized & peer-reviewed International Journals with more than 1442 citations and an h-index of 20.
