Introduction:
Dr. Madiha Rashid is serving as an Assistant Professor of Botany at the Division of Science and Technology, University of Education, Township, Lahore, Pakistan. She has been engaged in research since 2010 and teaching since 2013. She has also worked as a Visiting Researcher at the Genetics and Microbiology Laboratory, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 2019 to August 2020. She has been supervising BS, MS and PhD research students in diverse areas of plant sciences, since 2016.
She is an HEC-approved PhD Supervisor and a Registered Scientist in the National Scientists Directory (NSD) of PASTIC–PSF, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of Pakistan.
Her research interests include molecular taxonomy, phytochemistry, cytology, functional marker analysis and plant–microbe interactions.
