Introduction:

Dr. Muhammad Saeed Akhtar joins University of Education (UoE), Lahore, Pakistan as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics in January 2016. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor (Tenured) at the Department of Physics, Division of Science and Technology, University of Education, College Road, Township, Lahore.  Prior to join UoE, he was Senior Research Associate at Center of Excellence in Solid State Physics, University of the Punjab, Quid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Saeed received his doctoral degree in Microelectronics/Nanotechnology from CoE in Solid State Physics, University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan in 2015. Dr. Saeed has published more than 35 research papers in international peer reviewed journals. His research interests include Thin Films (Deposition and Characterization), Nanomaterials and Spintronics. He has hands-on experience of various synthesis and characterization techniques especially; Chemical Bath deposition, Sol-Gel, Sputtering, Chemical Vapor Deposition, Spin Coating, XRD, SEM, UV-Vis, PL, TEM and Ellipsometry. Dr. Saeed has supervised more than 30 research theses of BS and MS Physics.
