Introduction:

Ms. Faiza Jaleel belong to Lahore city. She is doing her PhD Special Education (sensory impairment) from Institute of Special Education, University of the Punjab, Lahore. She has done her MPhil in Special Education (sensory impairment) from University of Management and Technology, Lahore. She has done her MA in Special Education (visual impairment) from University of the Punjab, Lahore. She secured first position in MA Special Education and was Gold Medalist from University of the Punjab. She also secured 1st position in MPhil special education. She has 9 years of teaching experience. She started her first job as a teacher of students with visual impairment in Aziz Jehan Begum Trust Institute for the Blind. She worked as a Lecturer (blind field) in Govt. Training College for the Teachers of Blind. since 2019 she worked as Lecturer special education University of Education, Division of Education, Lahore. 

She presented conference papers in many national and international conferences. She has research publications in x and y category journals. She has expertise in the area of visual impairment. She is Braille expert. She has experience to use Braille software, screen reader software and other assistive technology for students with visual impairment. She also has experience to teach orientation and mobility techniques to the prospective teachers of special education and students with visual impairment.

She attended many workshops, national and international conferences and seminars on different topics in the field of special education. Her research areas are curriculum, visual impairment, Braille, Orientation and mobility, science education, acquired visual impairment, congenital visual impairment, administration, inclusive education, UDL, employment, communication skills. She is passionate to teach Braille through her you tube channel and face book page to serve the community. She conducted Braille workshops as a resource person.

She is also working as Secretary Day Care and Secretary Department of Special Education.

She Secured 1^st Position in Punjab Public Service Commission (senior special education teacher (SSET) VI and Lecturer VI BS-17). She was also selected as junior special education teacher (JSET). (updated February 24, 2023).
