I am Dr. Sheza Ayaz Khilji, currently working as an Assistant Professor, in the Department of Botany,  Division of Science and Technology, University of Education, Lahore Pakistan.  My major is Botany and my area of specialization is Environmental Biotechnology. I have experience of research in the field of Phytoremediation, Detoxification of heavy metals during my MS and PhD research. My career goal is to reduce the toxicity of industrial waste by reducing the heavy metals, poisonous substances, odors or fumes by the use of plants and microbes and completely recycle the contents.

Apart from participating and presenting my research work in different conferences (Turkey, Thailand and Pakistan), I attended 06 months HEC sponsored (International Research Support Initiative Program) training course at University of California Davis, USA (2012). Where I get expertise in several latest techniques at the Department of Environmental Science & Policy. I have already published many research papers in Journals of national and international repute and three are under review.
