Introduction:

Dr. Aasma Tufail, Phd. Botany from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad 2016. Currently working as an Assistant Professor on TTS since 2017, in the Department of Botany, Division of Science and Technology, University of Education, Lahore Pakistan.  I am Serving in university of Education since 2016. My filed of specialization is Plant Anatomy and Physiology. I have done Distribution and comparative anatomy of family Cyperaceae in the Faisalabad region”during M.Sc Research, during M.Phil worked Study of Salicylic acid induced growth in two maize (Zea mays L.) Genotypes under salt stress” and during Ph.D done work  Ecotypic adaptations in Bermuda grass [Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers.] For salt stress tolerance”   I have done on different research filed area and I have goal to work on anatomical and physiological study along with phytoremediation, effect biofertilizers, growth hormones, nanotechnology to reduce the different stresses in new crops and old crops. I have also goal to work on the anatomy of new species and medicinal plants. I have also interest in plant taxonomy.

Further I attended 06 months HEC sponsored (International Research Support Initiative Program) training course under supervision of Prof. Dr. Donald L. Smith in McGill University, McDonald Campus, Montreal, Canada as worked on related to aspects of plant-microbe interactions and molecular signaling between microbes and the plants they associate with main project has involved the stimulation of crop growth through application of microbe-to-plant signals under normal and saline environment since 2014. I have Total 22 IF publications in international and journals. I have also attend many training, seminars, conferences. I have also arranged two symposiums, one training, exhibition, study tours, seminars and webinar in this institute. I am running UE botanical Society.  I have supervised total 27 BS and MS students and 1 Phd, 5 MS are under supervision.
