Introduction:

Dr. Shamsheer ul Haq has joined the University of Education, D G Khan Campus as Assistant Professor. Dr. Shamsheer ul Haq won the TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) scholarship in 2014 and completed his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Ondokuz Mayıs University, Samsun, Turkey in 2019. He completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agricultural and Resource Economics and M.Sc. (Hons.) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. Dr. Shamsheer ul Haq has worked as a research associate in a Project funded by International Food Policy and Research Institute (IFPRI). Before Joining University of Education Lahore, he has also worked as a visiting faculty at Minhaj University, Lahore, Government College University, Faisalabad, and University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. His research interests include sustainable development, food safety, food security, food and nutrition security, climate change, and resource use efficiency.
