Introduction:

Dr. Muhammad Irfan Malik joined the University of Education, Faisalabad Campus as Assistant Professor Economics in October 2020. Previously, he was associated with the Punjab Economic Research Institute (PERI) as an Associate Research Fellow, where he worked on different studies related to infrastructure, health, water and sanitation, and education. He has more than three years of experience in the development sector. He has also worked as a visiting faculty member at the International Islamic University, Islamabad, and Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE). Dr. Irfan earned his Ph.D in Econometrics from the International Islamic University Islamabad in 2018. During his Ph.D, he was associated with Dr. Robert M Kunst of the University of Vienna, Austria as a visiting Ph.D scholar. He has published his work in Q1 and Q2 journals.
