Introduction:

Dr. Danish Riaz has joined the Department of Zoology, Division of Science and Technology University of Education Lahore, (Faisalabad Campus), as Assistant Professor (Zoology) and HEC approved supervisor . He received his PhD in Zoology from G.C University Faisalabad, Pakistan. He won IPFP fellowshipe from Higher Education, Pakistan and Associate Fellowshipe UK.

Research goal: 

Being a Zoologist, to expanding my professional horizon, potentials and efforts to promote eco-friendly aqua-culture and fish nutrition industry as (SDG 14).

Research output and accomplishments: 

He published a numbers research articles in Nation and International Impact factor and HEC-recognised peer reviewed journals. Dr. Danish Riaz qualified and secured a good position in National Faculty Development Program 2020 under supervision of Mentor, Dr. Steven Burian, Professor of Environmental Engineering and Director of the Water Center at the University of Utah, in the United States (US) through the platform of National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) of Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.  Six lactic acid bacterial strains sequence submitted in Gene bank of NCBI (National Center for Biotechnology Information, USA) as First Scientist. He presented and submitted research abstracts published in booklets of National and International conferences/workshops.

Professional Experiences: 

He has served several years as Assistant Director in Government of Punjab, Fisheries Department and as lecturer in Department of Zoology, Government Postgraduate College Samanabad Faisalabad Pakistan
