Dr. Hamza Naeem is an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Education Lahore. He holds a PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), Hefei, China, and has over nine years of teaching, research, and academic administrative experience.
His research focuses on computational physics and materials science, including first-principles modelling using Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Monte Carlo techniques. His current research emphasizes perovskite materials for energy storage, optoelectronic, and photocatalytic applications, as well as other advanced functional materials for sustainable energy.
Dr. Naeem has published several research articles in prestigious international peer-reviewed journals such as International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Journal of Physics and Chemistry of Solids, and Scientific Reports, and is actively engaged in teaching, research supervision, scientific collaboration, and academic administration.
