Dr. Ahmad Raza Ashraf has joined the University of Education,
Lahore (Multan Campus) as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry. He
received his PhD degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Quaid-i-Azam University,
Islamabad, Pakistan in 2019. Dr. Ahmad was awarded with Indigenous Scholarship
for his PhD studies by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. He joined
Professor Leonardo Simon's research group at University of Waterloo, Canada for
one year under the International Research Support Initiative Program of HEC
Pakistan. Dr. Ahmad secured 2nd position in Microteaching
presentation, and won 3rd position in Three Minute Thesis
competition in National Faculty Development Program 2020 of National Academy of
Higher Education, Pakistan. His research interests include synthesis and
characterization of polymer nanocomposites, and transition metal complexes. He
has published a number of research articles in peer-reviewed impact factor journals
and participated in various national and international conferences/workshops.
