Introduction:

Mr. Bilal Asmat Cheema holds the position of Lecturer of English in the esteemed Department of English, which falls under the purview of the Division of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan. His research interests include Contemporary Literary Theory, South Asian Literature, Pakistani Literature in English, and Greek Drama.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Bilal Asmat served as the Campus Coordinator of the English Department, further enriching his experience in academia. His academic pursuits and research interests primarily focus on South Asian Diaspora Literature and Postcolonial Fiction. Notably, he is currently engaged in a few research projects centered around Pakistani Anglophone Fiction.

With an extensive fourteen-year teaching at the Post-graduate level, Mr. Bilal Asmat brings a wealth of teaching experience. In addition to his instructional endeavors, he has authored and co-authored several research articles featured in both local and foreign journals.

Mr. Bilal Asmat is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Lahore, Pakistan.
