Introduction:

Dr. Rana Muhammad Kamran Shabbir, a well-known expert in the field of Human Molecular Genetics, Population genetics, Epidemiology, and Public health. Dr. Kamran holds an M.Sc. in Zoology from the University of Sargodha, where he was a distinguished Silver Medalist. He obtained his M.Phil & Ph.D. in Zoology from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan. During his Ph.D. research, Dr. Kamran spent significant time at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver,  Canada. Dr. Kamran's primary research interest lies in the identification of novel disease-causing genes and its functional verification in families recruited from remote areas of Pakistan. He is currently working on a project that utilizes efficient techniques such as Whole exome sequencing, Linkage analysis, Sanger sequencing, mutation analysis, and Copy Number Variation. Dr. Kamran has extensive expertise in these techniques and has gained a wealth of experience in their implementation. Throughout his career, Dr. Kamran has made significant contributions to the field of molecular genetics, publishing numerous articles in various international journals. He is a highly respected academic and has presented his research at several national and international conferences. In summary, Dr. Rana Muhammad Kamran Shabbir is a highly skilled molecular geneticist with expertise in various cutting-edge techniques.
