Introduction:

Mr. Shahzad Ali is currently serving as a Lecturer (Computer Science) in the Department of Information Sciences, University of Education, Lahore, Pakistan, since March 2019. He is presently on study leave while pursuing his Ph.D. in Data Science and Computation at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, Italy.

He completed his Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) with a specialization in Machine Learning from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore in July 2018.

During his academic tenure, Mr. Ali has taught various undergraduate courses, including:

  • Programming Fundamentals [COMP1112]

  • Database Systems [COMP2114]

  • Data Mining [ITEC4124]

  • Artificial Intelligence [ITEC4129]

He has also actively supervised numerous undergraduate research and final year projects in computing and data science.

Research Interests:
His research primarily revolves around Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and their applications in medical and healthcare informatics, with a particular focus on disease prediction, diagnosis, and intelligent healthcare systems.
