Introduction:

Dr. Anis Ali Shah is serving as Assistant Professor of Botany, Division of Science and Technology, University of Education, Lahore since 2021. Previously, He has served as Lecturer (BPS-18) in Department of Biological Sciences, University of Sargodha. He has also served as Lecturer (BPS-18) for more than 5 years in Department of Botany, University of Narowal. He has more than 11 years experience of teaching at University level. Apart from teaching experience, he has also served at various administrative positions at University level., 1. Deputy Director Advanced Studies 2. Deputy Director, Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization 3. Coordinator, Department of Botany 4. Member, Board of Faculty etc. He has also distinction as Gold-Medalist in Master of Science in Botany from Government College University, Faisalabad. His area of specialization is Plant Physiology. He has published more than 64 research papers in top journals of the world. Moreover, He has published Book Chapters in Book published by renowned publishers like Springer. Currently, he is also contributing as Editor of Pakistan Journal of Botany (IF 1.1), Journal of Food Quality (IF 3.20), BMC Plant Biology (IF 5.260) and Frontiers in Plant Science (IF 6.627). He is also contributing as Guest Associate Editor of Frontiers in Plant Science, Section (1) Abiotic Stress (2) Crop and Product Physiology. 
Apart from editorial contributions, he is reviewer of many renowned journals like Chemosphere, Journal of Pineal Research, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Scientific Reports, Journal of food quality, BMC Plant Biology, Journal of soil science and plant nutrition, Artificial cells nanomedicine and Biotechnology, PLOS One, Sustainability, Bioengineering, Agriculture-MDPI, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Frontiers in Plant Sciences, Pakistan Journal of Botany. 
To his credit, he has also supervised many graduation and post-graduation level thesis. Till Now, he has supervised 18 BS thesis and 5 MPhil thesis. Currently, he is involved in supervision/co-supervision of 7 MS students and 1 PhD student. 
Moreover, he is working in collaboration with renowned scientists in the field and has completed research project with collaborative efforts.
