Introduction:

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Education, Lahore, specializing in health, education, public policy, and gender. My work bridges research and practice, with contributions to key policy initiatives such as the Punjab Growth Strategy 2018–23 and the Punjab Economic Report 2018. These experiences, along with my tenure at the University of the Punjab and the PERI P&D Board, have shaped my expertise in analyzing the intersection of economic policy and social outcomes. I have published in leading journals, including Social Indicators Research and the Journal of Interpersonal Violence, and authored book chapters, policy briefs, and research reports. My scholarship spans WASH, public policy, and gender, reflecting a commitment to advancing evidence-based insights that inform academia and policy. Driven by a passion for impactful research and public service, I continue to focus on addressing critical socio-economic challenges through academic excellence.
