Introduction:

Dr. Asma Ashraf joined University of Education Lahore, Jauharabad Campus as an assistant Professor of Zoology in 2021. She was graduated from University of Arid Agriculture Rawalpindi in 2011, held Master of Philosophy in 2014 and got PhD degree in 2020, from the Department of Zoology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan. She served in the parent institute as a research associate fellow for the three years (2014-2017). After receiving her PhD degree, she joined Superior College, University campus as a lecturer and as a visiting faculty member at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. She has published a number of research articles in well reputed national and international journals. Now her focus is on the research of Parasitology, Entomology, Molecular biology and Insect pest management.
