Misbah Naz received her Master�s in Industrial Chemistry from
the Government
College University, Lahore, Pakistan in 2008. She
continued her studies, In 2011, she received her MS degree in the field of
Pharmaceutical Chemistry with her thesis �Biological activities of
Juglans regia, Leucas Cephalotes and synthesized thiozolidinone derivatives� at the Government College University, Lahore,
Pakistan researching the synthesis and isolation
of compounds by column. She was awarded the Indigenous 5000 PhD
fellowship program by Higher Education Commission Pakistan (2012-2016) during Ph.D.
Then she joined College of Engineering
and Computer Science, Nanotechnology Research Laboratory, Research School of
Engineering ANU (Australian National University) (with Group Leader Antonio Tricoli) as a Visiting Research
Fellow (02/2016-08/2016). In 2018, she passed her PhD in the field of Chemistry
with her thesis �Synthesis and Characterization of Silver
nanoparticlesby using seed extracts and their biomedical applications". In 2021, she joined the University of
Education, Division of Science and Technology, Department of chemistry, Lahore
as Assistant Professor. Her current research
interests are Catalysis, Biomaterials, and Nanotechnology Drug Delivery, Nanomedicines, Green /organic
synthesis.
