Introduction:

Dr. Usman Niaz is a Lecturer in Physics (BPS-18) at the University of Education, Lahore. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia, with a CGPA of 4.00/4.00, where he was also awarded a Certificate of Excellence and a Merit Certificate in recognition of his academic and research performance. His research focuses on semiconductor nanomaterials, photocatalysis, laser-assisted photocatalytic processes, environmental nanotechnology, and advanced functional materials. His work primarily addresses the development of efficient nanostructured photocatalysts for the degradation of pharmaceutical and emerging water pollutants, as well as applications in renewable energy and sustainable environmental technologies. He has published research in several international peer-reviewed journals and has extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration.
