Introduction:

Mr. Gulfam Nawaz belong to Gujranwala District. He is pursuing his PhD Special Education from Department of Special Education, Division of Education, University of Education, Lahore. He has done his MA & MPhil in Special Education from Punjab University Lahore. He secured first position in MA Special Education and was declared Gold Medalist. He also holds an LLB from University of the Punjab, Lahore. His hobbies include doing light exercise and watching informative movies & videos. He has been associated with teaching since last 14 years. He started his regular teaching career as Lecturer (Mentally Challenged Children Field) (BS-17), Govt. In-Service Training College for the Teachers of Disabled Children, Lahore (Punjab Special Education Department) and worked there for three and half years. Since March 2019, he has been working as Lecturer in Special Education, Division of Education, Township, Lahore. 

He specialized in dealing with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs) during his masters and his area of specialization was Developmental Disabilities (DDs) during MPhil. He has experience of dealing with children with IDDs (i.e., Children with Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, etc) as well as training teachers of children with IDDs, working throughout Punjab.
He is a passionate learner and love to read and share knowledge through his YouTube Channel, Facebook Page & Blog. His research interests include Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities: Intellectual Disability, Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome; Learning Disabilities; Inclusive Education; & Developmental Delays. His research publications have been published in national and international x and y category journals.

He has been attending different research and teaching-learning related trainings through various online platforms for becoming a better teacher cum researcher.

He has a vast experience relating to competitive and other PPSC/FPSC GK-based One Paper Exams. He qualified CSS-2011 & PMS-2020; his other selections through PPSC/FPSC include Junior Special Education Teacher (Mentally Challenged Children Field) (BS-16) Punjab Special Education Department, Inspector ASF (BS-16) Airports Security Force, and Educator (BS-16) Punjab Special Education Department. (Updated as of February 06, 2023)
