Introduction:

Dr. Fatima Sughra joined the University of Education in 2005 as Lecturer in Biology. She has served at UE Jauharabad Campus for 7 years. She joined the Department of Zoology, Division of Science and Technology in 2012. She completed her Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) in 2021. During her PhD, Dr. Fatima has developed fish vaccines to combat Aeromonas hydrophila infection in cultured carp species of Punjab. Her specific area of research is Fish Health Management and Disease Prevention and Control.

Dr. Fatima has vast teaching experience in core Zoology subjects at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels and has supervised research projects of post-graduate students. She is also a member of Board of Studies (BoS)
