Introduction:

Dr. Mirza Arfan Yawer (Wv.S.A) has joined University of Education Lahore as a Professor of chemistry in Feb. 2022. He is working as Principal of DG Khan campus at University of Education Lahore since 27^th May 2019. He also served as an Associate Professor at UE Lahore from April 2019 to Feb. 2022. Before that he worked at UMT as an Associate Professor from Sep. 2018 to April 2019.  He did PhD in Chemistry from University of Rostock Germany in 2008 and postdoc at Erlangen University Nuremberg Germany under DFG program, He also worked at Masaryk University Research Center for Toxic Compounds in the Environment (RECETOX) Brno Czech Republic for six years as a senior researcher from Feb. 2012 to Dec. 2017. He was honored to win Werner von Siemens Excellence Award 20015/16 in Prague Czechia on the development of receptors for the recognition and transportation of inorganic anions in water, He is notable for his research in the field of bambusuril newly developed receptor for anions. He published 35 papers in well-known journals of chemistry Further also presented his research work at various national and international conferences.  He also worked as Project manager at contiproforma-a.s Czechia in the field of biopolymers. He have completed various research and management projects. Recently English Access Micro-scholarship program 2019-2021 has been completed at DG khan campus By Prof. Yawer and his team, upon completion of said Project DG khan campus have been awarded 2^nd time English Access Micro-scholarship Program by US consulate for the years 2021 to 2023 which is going on.
