Introduction:

Dr. Muhammad Javed Aftab is a well-known Special Educationist and researcher working as a Lecturer in the field of Special Education at the University of Education Lahore, Faisalabad Campus, and as a coordinator for the Department of Special Education, University of Education, Lahore (Faisalabad Campus). He is an HEC Ph.D. Approved Supervisor in the field of social sciences.

He completed his Doctoral Degree in the field of Special Education in 2018 from the Institute of Special Education, University of the Punjab Lahore, Pakistan. He has earned his Master's Degrees in Education, Economics, and Mathematics from the University of the Punjab Lahore, Pakistan, and a Master's Degree in Special Education from the Directorate of Distance Learning, Department of Special Education, Government College University, Faisalabad.  

Currently, he is working as a Lecturer of Special Education at the University of Education Lahore, Faisalabad Campus, Punjab, Pakistan. He also worked as visiting professor at GC University Faisalabad and at other higher educational institutions. He has experience of more than fifteen years of experience in the field of teaching, learning, research, and development at the university level with authorship of more than Fifteen Research Publications in reputed national and international journals all over the world. He also served the Directorate of Staff Development Punjab, which is also known as Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development Punjab, Lahore for more than 5 years as a Teacher Educator (TE). He also served School Education Department as an Education Officer for more than one year. He also spent more than five years in Association for Academic Quality (AFAQ) as Master Trainer in the Subject of Mathematics.

His areas of interest are Learning Difficulties, Learning Disabilities, Specific Learning Difficulties, Specific Learning Disabilities, Educational Assessment, Data Analysis, Mathematics Education, learning styles, pedagogical practices, and learning processes.  He participated in many National and International Conferences and seminars as a paper. He always loves to help university students and higher education scholars in developing their academic potential and research-oriented abilities. He has a solid mentality toward educating, information building, and fostering their mastery in explicit areas.
