A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between University of Education, Lahore and Women Development Department, Government of Punjab for the establishment of Women Development Centre at UE Township Campus.
According to the signed MoU, Women Development Department, Government of Punjab shall provide financial grant, furniture, equipment and essential machinery for the establishment of Women Development Center. The Provincial Department will also prepare plan for improvement of the Center and develop mechanism for future collaboration. On the other hand, University of Education, Lahore is responsible for providing a suitable place for establishment of the Center. The University will also appoint in-charge and other human resource required to run the day to day operations of Centre. It will operate and maintain Centre and its expense on self- supporting basis.
Secretary Women Development Department, Government of Punjab, Ms. Ambreen Raza and Vice Chancellor, University of Education, Lahore Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.) signed the MoU on the behalf of their respective institutions.
