2nd International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education Concluded at University of Education

The 2 nd International Conference on Quality Assurance in Higher Education has been concluded at University of Education, Township Campus. The Conference was held with the joint collaboration of University of Education, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Khyber Medical University and Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education. More than 60 research papers were presented during the Conference. The Conference was went through a comprehensive analysis of quality assurance with national and international scholar’s remarkable contribution. Ex Advisor of Higher Education of Pakistan Dr. Riaz Qureshi was the chief guest at closing ceremony. While addressing the audience, the Vice Chancellor University of Education, Prof. Dr. Rauf-i-Azam said the purpose behind organizing this Conference was to highlight the plight of quality in higher education and give a wakeup call to government and all other stack holders to focus their attention in this regard. He said we have to reshape and re-define education to achieve its socio economic objectives. We have to analyze where we are lacking and design a comprehensive strategy to ensure quality. He thanked the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan and Khyber Medical University for extending their cooperation in arranging this Conference successfully. The chief guest of the concluding ceremony Dr. Riaz Qureshi said this Conference will be helpful to create awareness regarding ensuring quality in higher education. At the end, the shields and certificates were distributed among participants.
