UE Dispatched Second Batch of Relief Goods and Medical Team for Flood Victims

On the directions of the Governor Punjab Muhammad Baligh-ul-Rehman, University of Education, Lahore has dispatched the second batch of relief goods to the countrymen affected by worst floods and rains, along with a team of senior medical officer, staff, teachers and students under the supervision of Director Student Affairs Dr. Muhammad Umar Saleem on September 21, 2022. This team will organize 3-day medical camp in various flood-affected areas of Taunsa, Fazalpur, Rojhan Mazari and other affected areas. Free medicines will be provided along with check-ups by senior doctors in these medical camps. With the cooperation of teachers, staff and students, University of Education, Lahore collected relief goods including medicines, clothes, rice, ghee, quilt, sugar, mosquito net, dry fruits for the flood victims in a very short time from University relief centers. Talking on this occasion, Vice Chancellor University of Education, Lahore Professor Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.) said that Today, our beloved country is facing the challenge of the worst floods in history, which we need continuous and sincere efforts to tackle. With the arrival of winter, the need for assistance has increased even more for the flood victims who are sitting under the open sky. So we have to intensify our efforts. The Vice-Chancellor has once again appealed for full assistance to the flood victims. A large number of teachers, staff and students were present on this occasion, including Director S&T Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed and Registrar Dr. Mubashar Nadeem.
