In order to pay tribute to the teachers, UE organized a special ceremony


In order to pay tribute to the teachers on the International Teachers' Day, a grand ceremony was organized in the main Campus Township of the University of Education, Lahore on October 12, 2023. The chief guest of the ceremony was Former Vice Chancellor of Home Economics University, Lahore and renowned Educationist Prof. Dr. Kanwal Amin (T.I.) while Vice Chancellor University of Education, Lahore Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (H.I., S.I.) presided over the program. Director Division of Education Prof. Dr. Ayaz Muhammad Khan, Principals/Directors and a large number of students were also present on this occasion.
Addressing the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (H.I., S.I.) said that no doubt, teachers are the nation builders, so teachers should be respectable at all levels. And the purpose of celebrating this day is also to recognize the constructive role of teachers in the society. Teachers are the most important component of our society, as they determine the future of the society. The role of teachers and their importance in the betterment of the society cannot be neglected in any way. On this occasion, former Vice Chancellor of Home Economics University and Educationist Professor Dr. Kanwal Amin (T.I.) said that although no one can deny the greatness and importance of teachers but it is also important for a teacher to pay the right to this distinction by words and actions because the teacher is not only for the students but also the ideal figure for the entire society. She said that it is the teachers who give us awareness through education, teach us how to live despite the adverse conditions of life, without the help of our teachers we can neither determine our destination nor can only achieve the destination.
