We have to make the university a hub of activities for promoting peace: Raja Yasir Humayun

A Panel Discussion on “Youth and Women as Ambassadors of Peace” to celebrate International Human Rights Day was held at University of Education Bank Road Campus. Minister for Higher Education Punjab, Raja Yasir Humayun, was the chief guest on this occasion while Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (SI), Vice Chancellor, University of Education was the guest of honor. Faculty members, staff and a large number of students from different departments and societies attended the discussion.

While addressing the Minister for Higher Education Raja Yasir Humayun said some people assume that students have low wisdom, less understanding and lack of maturity but we have got very different experience while interacting with students. Our youngsters are eager to learn and showing responsible behavior towards these peace building programs which will polish their leadership skills. Vice Chancellor University of Education, Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I.) said that universities should be hub of activities for promoting peace. He said University of Education will continue its role towards spreading peace & tolerance in society.
