USL Table Tennis Championship started at University of Education

University Sports League (USL) Table Tennis Premier League Championship 2019-2020 has been started at University of Education, Township Campus. The Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony was the Vice Chancellor of University of Education Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I). 13 Teams of various universities across Punjab are taking part in the said championship.

While addressing the participants, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha (S.I) said a good and ideal student should be good in health, sophisticated in literary taste and very good in his/her studies. He urged the students to work hard both in games and studies to be the complete personality. He said the real aim and goal of organizing such events is to develop the tolerance, patience to work as a team member and discipline as well to ensure the best mental and physical health of our students. He said I am sure during the next four days we will have very interesting sports competitions among the participating athletes. The Vice Chancellor said the present govt. is attaching great importance to games which should be appreciated.

Deputy Secretary of Higher Education Department, Punjab Miss. Shamsa Hashmi represents her department and congratulated the management specially Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Talat Naseer Pasha for organizing this event. The UE Director Sports Dr. Muhammad Umer Saleem while welcoming the participants said that it is a matter of pride for us to host this Championship.
