Doctor of Philosophy in Botany

Objectives

  • To critically apply theories, methodologies, and knowledge to address problems in their primary area of study.
  • To demonstrate a fundamental understanding of practical botany that will enable the students to identify, select and maintain data for sustainable development.
  • To demonstrate skills in oral and written communication sufficient to publish and present work in their field and to prepare grant proposals.
  • To pply botanical skills and knowledge to operate various botany related business entities.

Entry Requirements

  • Eligibility criteria as per admission policy of University of Education.

  • Minimum CGPA 3.0 out of 4.0 in the semester system or first division in the annual system in MPhil/MS/equivalent degree in Botany or relevant fields from HEC recognized universities as per UE rules.
  • The applicants will be required to take UE entry test to meet the qualifying criteria.
